Jo Ann Warren

Jo Ann Warren is the owner, director, dance educator and choreographer of Jo Ann Warren Studio. Jo Ann established JAWS in 1979 on Grafton Street in Worcester. Since that time, Jo Ann has expanded the studio to Whitinsville. She teaches recreational and competition level tap, jazz, acrobatic and ballet classes personally. Teaching dance is her true passion. Jo AnnShe boasts an amazing competition team. This past season her dancers have brought home the gold and glory. This past July, Jo Ann traveled with Team JAWS 2005 to Cape May, New Jersey to compete at nationals.

Ever involved within the community, she is in charge of the dance programs for St. Mark's School in Southboro and the Assabet After Dark Program. Additionally, Jo Ann implemented the Neighborhood Arts Alliance working to bring the arts to inner city youth.

Jo Ann has trained numerous professional dancers who are currently working in Broadway tours, at major theme parks, in modern dance companies, on major cruise lines and as backup dancers for major stars. This year Jo Ann received her Theatrical Agent's booking License to add to her resume for representing future JAWS alumni including up and coming talents in the North East.

Cybill Anne WarrenCybill

Cybill Warren, Assistant Artistic Director of JAWS, has been with the Studio for over thirteen years. Cybill teaches tap and jazz and directs the Mini, Junior and Jr. INT Dance Companies. She has a broad background of training, professional entertainment and performance. She shares her knowledge, instilling understanding, discipline and an eagerness to learn. At each and every competition, Cybill and her students are recognized for their talent and presentations. In addition to teaching, this talented artist travels the country as a Master Teacher, Competition Adjudicator and Choreographer.

Cybill is a graduate of Clark University and has taught in many school and University settings. She was responsible for the design and start of the Suffolk University dance program in Boston, serving for two years as choreographer and director. This year Cybill received top honors in choreography for "Bang Bang" performed by Brianne Hoey at many regional competitions.
