Jo Ann Warren

Owner and director of JAWS, Jo Ann Warren, founded the school in 1979. Since then she has become a nationally recognized dance educator and choreographer. Last year Jo Ann received her 25 year membership pin from Dance Masters of America. Jo AnnDance Spirit Magazine listed Jo Ann in 2004 as one of the country's most popular master teachers.

Through her intensive training, guidance and networking, many former students are working professionally. JAWS dancers can currently be seen on Broadway, in National Tours, as backup dancers for pop icons, in major modern companies, at theme parks and on cruise lines. In 2006 Jo Ann was state licensed as a talent agent, passionately working to open doors and find new opportunities for young performers. Jo Ann is ever involved within the community and with the Worcester Public School System. Michelle DiTerlizzi, a former student of Jo Ann's is currently a backup dancer for Bette Midler at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas.

Cybill Anne WarrenCybill

Cybill Warren is Assistant Artistic Director for Jo Ann Warren Studio. Cybill teaches tap and jazz and directs the Mini, Junior and Jr. INT Dance Companies. She has a broad background of training, professional entertainment and performance. She shares her knowledge, instilling understanding, discipline and an eagerness to learn. At each and every competition, Cybill and her students are recognized for their talent and presentations. In addition to her commitment to JAWS, this talented artist travels the country as a master teacher, choreographer and competition adjudicator.

Cybill is a graduate of Clark University and has taught in many schools and University settings. She was responsible for the design and start of the Suffolk University dance program in Boston, serving for two years as choreographer and director. This year Cybill's former student, Brianne Hoey, set sail as a performer aboard Holland America Cruise Lines.
